About the event
The Advanced Criminal Law Studies Committee, in collaboration with the Legal Aid and Awareness Committee, organized a comprehensive visit to the Parappana Agrahara Central Prison for the 5th-year students of BA LLB and BBA LLB on October 10th and 11th, 2023. The visit spanned two insightful days. On October 10th, 2023, the supervision and guidance of Prof. Jayanthi Bai H.L, Prof. Hema K, Prof. Pavithra R, and Prof. Ashwin Kunal Singh played a pivotal role in overseeing the students and providing them with invaluable insights during the prison visit. Their expertise enriched the students' understanding of the criminal justice system. Continuing on October 11th, 2023, Prof. Anto Sebastian, Dr. Gopi Ranga Nath V, Dr. Chaitra RB, and Dr. Valarmathi R made significant contributions by offering their expertise and guidance, further enhancing the students' learning experience. The collaboration between these esteemed professors ensured a comprehensive and enlightening exploration of the legal aspects associated with the prison visit.
